Theatre Britain’s ‘Babes in the Woods’ – Dec. 3 through Dec. 23

I recently finished the music and songs to Theatre Britain’s production of ‘Babes in the Woods’ – a demanding but rewarding endeavor. If you’ve never seen a traditional British panto, you ought to check it out. It’s filled with fun costumes, lively choreography, songs, audience interaction, and jokes for both kids and adults. It’s playing at the Cox Building Playhouse in Plano. You can get details here: www.theatre-britain.com

Dallas Symphony Orchestra to begin 2010 – 2011 season

The Dallas Symphony Orchestra is about to begin their 2010 – 2011 season, which should be exciting.  They’ve got a lot of Beethoven lined up, as well as a couple of my favorite pieces: Gustav Holst’s ‘The Planets’ (Sept. 30 – Oct 3), and of course Stravinsky’s ‘The Rite of Spring’ (Mar 17 – Mar 19, 2011).

Revised Website Debuts

A screen grab from my new & improved website

Thanks to the creative skills of my friend and colleague Patrick Phillips, my website has been revised, updated, enhanced, and much improved – and I’m very excited!

Hope you’ll take a look (if you haven’t already, and I’m sure you have since you probably linked from my site in the first place!), listen to some tunes, read a tweet or two, and of course if you have any questions, suggestions, complaints, or want to know the air speed velocity of an unladen swallow (African or European) then just give me a shout.  Okay, maybe not on that last part.
